Con ampie frasi musicali e con la caratteristica ricchezza del suono, il Corno rivela fino in fondo il carattere nobile, malinconico e un po’ romantico del Valzer. Gli altri strumenti del quintetto accompagnano e contrappuntano compiaciuti. Principe è molto gradevole anche per gli ascoltatori e ha il pregio di dare al cornista una splendida opportunità di essere “protagonista” nel quintetto
